If you ever find yourself in old town Sacramento, and you crave seafood, you can't go wrong with Joe's Crab Shack. OK, it's not exactly just a Sacramento tradition, but it's good enough to include in this list. You can get amazing seafood here, and most everything is fresh. If you have a hankering for shrimp or lobster maybe even crab, try them out. OK, so maybe it's not exactly fine dining, but if you love burgers, you've got to try the Suqeeze with Cheese from Squeeze Inn.
Located at the corner of 29th and P Streets, Suzie Burger is a Sacramento original. It was a favorite generations ago and was recently reopened to cater to a new crowd. It's housed in a wonderful retro-future Jetsons-like abode with cool graphics on the inside walls. Great burgers, cheeseteaks, and soft serve. It's a wonderful place that you will want to go back to over and over again.
Housed in the handsomely renovated Arnold Brothers Building built for a Hudson car dealership in the 1920s, Zocalo is located on the corner of 18th Street and Capitol Avenue right in the heart of Midtowns Handle District. Zocalo is Regional Mexican at its best!
Biba Caggiano is an award-winning cookbook author, and this is her restaurant. Made from only the freshest ingredients, every meal is carefully fashioned to excite the senses.
